The Forms of Citation Practices in the Undergraduate Students’ Theses in English Language Teaching

This study aims to find out the forms used in citation practices of ELESP undergraduate students’ theses at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. research uses both quantitative and qualitative methods, which employ a corpus-based analysis. The analysis is conducted by adopting Hyland (1999)’s framework category integration as proposed Swales (1990). data source this consists 50 English Language Teaching (ELT), especially introduction literature review chapters, written students published from 2018 2022 repository UNJ. results revealed that frequently use summary generalization chapter. Furthermore, integral non-integral two chapters have nearly same frequency, indicates focus on actions researchers well emphasize itself cited sources.
